“Right and wrong are rarely simple- true character is revealed in the choices we make.”
An engaging Class Activity-"Moral Dilemma" was organized by the English Department of Vardhman Academy, Railway Road, Meerut for the students of Classes IX and X. The activity aimed to enhance critical thinking, ethical reasoning, communication skills, and the ability to view situations from multiple perspectives.
Students enthusiastically participated in group discussions based on real-life moral dilemmas such as exam leaks, cyberbullying, cheating, peer pressure, and honesty. Through collaborative discussions, they analyzed consequences, defended their viewpoints, and reflected upon the complexity of making ethical decisions in challenging situations.
A unique role-twist segment further encouraged students to rethink their responses from different perspectives — as law followers, loyal friends, practical thinkers, and moral idealists — making the activity both intellectually stimulating and deeply insightful.
The session concluded with meaningful reflections, leaving students with a deeper understanding that moral choices often involve courage, empathy, responsibility, and thoughtful judgment.
