Inter House Doha Recitation Competition
*Celebrating the Essence of Hindi Poetry: Inter-House Doha Recitation Competition at Vardhman Academy*
Embracing the rich tradition of Hindi Shayari, an Inter-House Doha Recitation Competition was organized on August 10, 2024, in the grand auditorium of Vardhman Academy, Railway Road, Meerut, for students of classes 6 to 8. Competitors from all four houses captivated the atmosphere with their melodious renditions of couplets by renowned poets like Kabir, Surdas, Rahim, and Tulsidas, thus transforming the environment into a harmonious symphony.
Each house fielded four participants, who enthusiastically participated in this event. The primary objective of this competition was to nurture a passion for poetry among students and to cultivate a keen interest in the Hindi language.
The competition witnessed outstanding performances, with Tagore House securing the first rank, followed by Jawahar House in second place, and Shivaji House taking the third position.
On this occasion, our esteemed Principal, Ms. Rupali Chaudhary, enlightened the students about the practical significance of the Hindi language. She conveyed a profound message on the preservation and respect of their mother tongue, Hindi.She emphasized the importance of active participation in such programs and urged students to wholeheartedly engage in them.
