Awareness Session on Good Touch and Bad Touch

Vardhman Academy, Railway Road, organized a special awareness and counseling session for students of Classes 1 to 5 on the highly sensitive and essential topic of Good Touch and Bad Touch. The objective was to educate young minds about body safety, personal boundaries, and self-protection, empowering them to recognize inappropriate behaviour and seek help confidently.

The session commenced with interactive counseling by trained faculty where students were gently introduced to the concept of safe and unsafe touch., ensuring a safe and open environment for students to learn and share. This was followed by age-appropriate animated videos that clearly explained the concepts through relatable scenarios. A thought-provoking skit was also performed by staff and students, reinforcing key messages through visual storytelling. To further engage the young audience, the session concluded with educational songs, making the learning both fun and memorable.

Children were not only made aware of their rights and boundaries but were also encouraged to always speak to a trusted adult if they ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

Students participated actively and absorbed the information with curiosity and awareness. The environment remained open, safe, and supportive throughout the session.

The Honourable Principal mam Mrs. Rupali Chaudhary,lauded the initiative and appreciated the sincere efforts of the teachers and coordinators for handling such a sensitive topic with compassion and effectiveness. She emphasized the importance of such programs in ensuring the safety and well-being of every child.
