National Mathematics Day is celebrated on December 22nd to commemorate the birth anniversary of renowned Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujam. This day aims to promote mathematical awareness and encourage students to develop an interest in mathematics.
Vardhman Academy Railway Road, Meerut had organized National Mathematics Day where students of class III,IV,V had activities like puzzle solving,making 3D figures,class VI,VII,VIII made working models and performed activity based on compound interest,profit, loss and discount and students of class IX,XI participated in Quiz on Mathematics.There were four teams, one team had four students, two students from IX and two students from XI class.
Students showed their talents by participating in various activities with full zeal and enthusiasm. Our Principal Mrs. Rupali Chaudhary extended her heartfelt appreciation to the participants and said that their enthusiasm and love for Mathematics was truly commendable.
She further wished that students should continue exploring, learning and excelling in the world of mathematics.
