The Shakespeare's Drama Competition showcased talent and creativity of our students and celebrated the legacy of William Shakespeare. It reaffirmed the status of Shakespeare's works as timeless classics in the world of drama. Students from different houses embraced the challenge of bringing Shakespeare's drama to life on stage.Participants presented excerpts from some of Shakespeare's most popular plays including, The Merchant of Venice,Julius Caesar,Macbeth and Hamlet. Their performances marked their understanding of Shakespeare's dramatic techniques. Each participant tried to portray the character with passion and authenticity. The competition not only provided students a platform to showcase their dramatic abilities but it fostered confidence in speaking English in an effective way.It also encouraged students to delve deeper into literature and hone their performance skills and appreciate the themes of Shakespeare's drama. It proved to be a resounding success and inspired everyone to explore their creative potential. Principal Mrs Rupali Chaudhary appreciated the effort and encouraged to continue organising such enriching events that expand opportunities for artistic expression in students and nurture talent and admiration for literary works.
