Basant Panchami, the festival that marks the arrival of spring and is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, was celebrated with immense joy and enthusiasm at VARDHMAN ACADEMY RAILWAY ROAD, MEERUT on Ist February2025. The event was a grand success, with active participation from students, teachers, and staff. The celebration began with a special morning assembly where students shared the significance of Basant Panchami through speeches and beautiful dances. The highlight of the event was the Saraswati Vandana, where teachers and students offered prayers to seek the blessings of the goddess of wisdom, learning, and arts. The chanting of mantras created a spiritual and peaceful ambiance.
Next, a group of students performed a thriling dance ( उड़ी उड़ी  जाए)celebrating the arrival of spring, dressed in bright yellow attire, symbolizing energy and prosperity. Additionally, A day before the celebration, the school organized a paper kite  making activity . Students of classes 1 to V  made beautiful coloured paper kites. They  participated enthusiastically, showcasing their talents and creativity.
The Basant Panchami craft-making activity was a wonderful success. It not only allowed students to explore their creative skills but also deepened their understanding of Indian culture and traditions. The beautifully crafted kites  were displayed around the school, adding to the festive spirit.
Our respected principal Mrs. Rupali Chaudhary  addressed the students and emphasized  the importance of knowledge, discipline, and hard work in achieving success. She emphasized  the importance of education, wisdom, and the values associated with the festival. She explained the students  the cultural and spiritual significance of Basant Panchami  and encouraged them  to seek knowledge and maintain a positive outlook in life.
