Mahavir Jayanti was celebrated with great reverence on 21st April 2024 in school campus. The school radiated with spiritual fervor and cultural vibrancy. The celebrations commenced with lighting the Traditional lamp to invoke blessings of Lord Mahavir followed by floral welcome. Hon'ble President Sir Shri Anil Kumar Jain, hon'ble Secretary Sir Shri Atul Kumar Jain and Principal Rupali Chaudhary extended a cordial welcome to the hon'ble Chief Guest, Shri Arun Govil, BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Meerut and Hapur. They also extended a warm welcome to Shri Kamal Dutt Sharma, the senior BJP leader and expressed gratitude for sparing their valuable time.
Joint Secretary Shri Mukesh Jain, Shri Pawan Jain, Treasurer Shri Vinay Kumar Jain and other Members of the Managing Committee had also graced the occasion with their benign presence. It was a pious occasion when students and their parents enhanced the significance of the day with their presence on the occasion.
Students presented a colourful cultural programme featuring informative presentations on Jainism, focusing on Lord Mahavir's preachings and principles. The highlight of the day was a captivating Musical Play presented by the students on the 16 auspicious Dreams observed by the Holi Mother who gave birth to Lord Mahavir, the 24th Tirthankar of Jainism. The essence of non-violence, truth and compassion was vividly portrayed through various programs presented by the students of Vardhman Academy. It also showcased their talent and religious zeal. The Namokar Mantra echoed and filled the atmosphere with peace and tranquility. The whole program was enlightening and engrossing.
Hon'ble Chief Guest Shri Arun Govil addressed the audience and blessed our students and encouraged and appreciated the teachers for their support in shaping the future of the children. President Sir Shri Anil Kumar Jain, reminded everyone the timeless message of non-violence and truth by Lord Mahavir and deepened the understanding of his principles in his address. The celebrations concluded with a pledge to uphold the values of Lord Mahavir and pursue the same in everyday life to foster harmony, empathy and righteousness in all forms.
